Not just because brides were walking through the doors with their people and their inspiration… but because the entire building was filled with the kind of energy that reminds me why we do what we do.
The Something Blue Experience brought together our sister brands—Josephine’s Bridal, Superior Blooms, The Vault Duluth, and True North Weddings—in a way that felt natural, welcoming, and honestly, so us.
But what made it even sweeter was seeing not just the brides, but the vendor community too.
The creatives and wedding pros we’ve met over the years. The people we’ve worked beside, rooted for, referred, and grown with. It felt less like an event and more like a reunion wrapped in bridal bliss.
There were hugs.
There were smiles.
There were so many conversations.
There was laughter and lightness.
Introductions, ideas, and small moments occurred throughout the building, making me stop and think, "This is exactly what I hoped for."
A room full of people who care deeply about weddings, about the Northland, and about helping brides feel supported.
It was more than beautiful.
It was meaningful.
And if this first Something Blue Experience taught me anything, it’s that there is nothing better than bringing good people together under one roof for a common cause: celebrating love well.
P.S. We already picked a date for next year...March 7, 2027.
