At Josephine’s Bridal, we know that finding your perfect wedding gown is a once-in-a-lifetime experience — and it often comes with a lot of questions. Whether you’re wondering how far in advance to shop, what sizes we carry, or if you can buy a gown off-the-rack, our FAQ page has you covered. We’ve gathered the most common questions brides ask when visiting our Duluth boutique so you can feel prepared and confident before your appointment.
Where are you located?
We are located in the historic Bagley Building in downtown Duluth at 313 W. Superior Street. You won't be able to miss our beautiful windows when you walk or drive by!
Where should we park?
The ultimate question! You have many options for parking. Josephine's will reimburse up to $10 of parking for your appointment.
Street Parking on Superior Street or an Avenue. Pay using the Park Duluth App.

Should I arrive early for my appointment?
Because we are busy getting the salon ready for you in between appointments, we’d love if you came right on time. If you do arrive early, there is a Starbucks at the end of the block for quick pre-appointment treat!
How much do your dresses cost?
Our first collection of dresses will range from $900-$4000, with our averages dresses falling between $1,200 - $2,500.
Do you have plus size dresses?
Absolutely! We will be carrying an exclusively plus size collection from Michelle Bridal. We will also have plus size samples for many of our gowns from Justin Alexander and LouiseMae.
Can I bring an entourage?
We wouldn't have it any other way! Whether you bring one trusted advisor or 10, we will accommodate your group in a private appointment. We do recommend thinking about who will most help you make this a fun and productive experience!
When should I start shopping for my wedding dress?
We recommend starting 8–10 months before your wedding to allow time for ordering and alterations.
Do you offer plus-size wedding gowns?
Yes! We carry inclusive sizing with gowns up to size 36.
Can I buy a gown off-the-rack?
Absolutely — we offer a selection of off-the-rack and sample sale gowns for same-day purchase.
What does payment look like?
We require FULL PAYMENT to order a gown or leave with a sample gown. We’d be happy to set up a payment plan when plenty of time allows. We would order the gown when the final payment is secured
What designers do you carry?
Currently, we carry Lillian West and Sincerity by Justin Alexander, Love Story, Wtoo by Watters, and our exclusive Louise Mae Collection. We will introduce Hayley Paige gowns in Late Fall 2025
