Bras & Brides: Because Every Woman Deserves Support

At Josephine’s Bridal, we believe there’s something powerful about women showing up for women.

October is both Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month, making it a meaningful time to celebrate women’s strength, resilience, and the importance of supporting one another. This year, we’re doing that through Bras & Brides, our October give-back campaign benefiting Safe Haven.

Throughout the month, we’re inviting every bride who visits Josephine’s to bring a new bra of any size to her bridal appointment. We’ll collect the bras and donate them to Safe Haven, where they can provide something simple but important to women in our community: comfort, dignity, and care.

As a thank-you for joining us, brides who donate a new bra will receive $200 off a Special Order wedding dress or $50 off an already-discounted Off The Rack wedding dress.

There’s something especially meaningful to us about connecting brides with this effort. A bridal appointment is filled with hope and anticipation for a new chapter ahead. Through Bras & Brides, that moment can also become an opportunity to support another woman as she moves toward a new chapter of her own.

It’s a small gesture with a beautiful purpose—and we hope our Josephine’s brides will help us fill our racks, boxes, and hearts with support this October.

There’s something incredibly special about seeing an idea come to life—and even more special when you get to do it a second time.

We’re so excited to introduce Volume Two of Something Blue , our very own wedding magazine created by Josephine’s Bridal. What began as a way to inspire our brides has grown into something we truly love: a celebration of weddings, relationships, local businesses, and the people who make this season of life so meaningful.

Inside Volume Two, you’ll find beautiful real weddings, thoughtful advice, fresh inspiration, and stories from some of our favorite wedding professionals. But more than anything, you’ll find a magazine that reflects how we approach weddings at Josephine’s: with heart.

Because while we absolutely love the dresses (and trust us, there are plenty of gorgeous ones in these pages!), we know the dress is just one piece of a much bigger story. Wedding planning is filled with decisions, traditions, relationships, anticipation—and countless little moments that eventually become part of your family history.

Something Blue is our opportunity to slow down and celebrate all of it.

We are so grateful to the couples, photographers, wedding professionals, writers, and local businesses who helped us bring Volume Two to life. This magazine is truly a love letter to our wedding community here in the Northland.

Over the past two years, we’ve met so many brides whose wedding timelines look a little different. Maybe the date came together quickly. Maybe waiting months for a gown just isn’t in the cards. Or maybe you’re simply the kind of girl who falls in love, knows it’s right, and wants to take her dress home today.

Honestly? We love that energy.

So we created a collection just for you.

Josephine’s Off The Rack is a curated collection of designer wedding gowns that are ready when you are. You’ll find beautiful silhouettes, fabrics and details from designers we love — including Eddy K, Sincerity, Love Story and our own Louise Mae Collection — at some pretty incredible prices.

And here’s the best part: the dress you try on is your dress . No ordering. No wondering. No months-long wait. When you find the one, you can say yes and take her home with you.

Of course, this is still Josephine’s. You’ll have your stylist beside you, your people cheering you on, and that moment when you look in the mirror and everything suddenly feels real.

The only difference?

This time, your dress gets to leave with you.

And I have a feeling there are going to be some very happy brides walking out our doors.

Me + Wedding Dresses + Lake Superior = Most Gorgeous Night Ever!

A couple of weeks ago,

I had the opportunity to do an editorial photo shoot for Something Blue magazine, featuring Eddy K Milano Couture gowns with photography by Asher James Co . It was the best night - the weather couldn't have been more gorgeous and the vibes were immaculate. My mom and Stephanie always volunteer me for these shoots and as much as they make me crazy, I also feel so lucky to be sharing these gowns and our beautiful city with everyone who sees them.

The two gowns from the 2027 Milano Couture by Eddy K collection were so different, but each so special. "Anne Marie's" train cascading down a rock - perfection. "Monet's" all over lace and subtle sparkle felt so romantic on the beach. I love them both and I'm so glad they are part of our Signature Collection!

I can't wait to see these photos in the new issue of Something Blue Magazine, I hope you enjoy them too!
